CONCORDIA
Japan’s Largest-scale Interactive Beach Art Projection CONCORDIA

CONCEPT

The moon will guide you to the birth of a symphony
that plays new harmonies.
A radiant moon, floating upon Odaiba Beach.

The laws of nature and the people drawn here by the moon’s pull
are brought together with an expanding urban network.
Where they overlap, a world of harmony is born: CONCORDIA.

As time slips by,
the coordinates upon which you stand impact you,
like a single note on a musical score.
And as all serendipities become inevitabilities,
a symphony that plays Odaiba’s “harmonies” will be born her
A radiant moon brings “harmony”
to
Odaiba Beach.

Moon of CONCORDIA

A radiant moon brings “harmony”
to Odaiba Beach.
The pull of the moon that floats on the beach
attracts “harmony” toward all kinds of people,
and brings a world of light and sound to life,
together with the passage of time.
An interactive experience of
light and sound,
playing the “harmonies” of Odaiba.

CONCORDIA AI Projection

An interactive experience of
light and sound,
playing the “harmonies” of Odaiba.
Six areas, created through the influence of Odaiba’s
“Natural Environment Data AI”.
Ventus (Wind), Aqua (Water), Tera (Earth), Planta (Plant), Vita (Life),
and Urbs (Urban).
When you step inside each area, your movements become a single note in the musical score of the “harmony” that plays here,
creating changes in sound and light.
Each vibrant motion invites you to the showtime: the CONCORDIA Symphony, where all six areas combine as one to weave a new harmony.

  • An evocation of the wind that blows across Odaiba is expressed
by the flowing particles of light.
    Ventus
    AREA1Wind
An evocation of the wind that blows across Odaiba is expressed by the flowing particles of light.
The moving lights dissect the relationship between people and the flow of the wind when we interact with the wind, and transform into a diagram that captures the feeling of the sea breeze that blows onto the beach.
And as time passes by, the interaction between wind and people increases its momentum, resulting in a vivid emission of light, and an intensified beauty.
  • An evocation of the water that encloses Odaiba is expressed
    with a quivering image.
    Aqua
    AREA2Water
An evocation of the water that encloses Odaiba is expressed with a quivering image.
The display of light dissects the relationship between people and the ripples that are created when water is pushed aside as people step forward.
The lights express a swaying motion, like a great wave surging upon the beach.
And as time passes by, the interaction between water and people increases its quivering, resulting in a vivid emission of light, and an intensified beauty.
  • An evocation of Odaiba’s land is expressed
    with contour line art.
    Tera
    AREA3Earth
An evocation of Odaiba’s land is expressed with contour line art.
As people step forward, their movements interfere with the contour lines, sparking the energy of a new land, and sublimating the line art.
And as time passes by, the interaction between the contour lines and people increases its movements, resulting in a vivid emission of light, and an intensified beauty.
  • An evocation of Odaiba’s rich plant life is expressed
    with organic lines.
    Planta
    AREA4Plant
An evocation of Odaiba’s rich plant life is expressed with organic lines.
The dancing lights dissect the “vines” that entwine people, and expand in an organic pattern that stimulates further growth.
And as time passes by, the relationship between the unfurling “vines” and the huge “roots” that support the land deepens, resulting in a vivid emission of light, and an intensified beauty.
  • The “life” that converges in Odaiba is expressed
    with a symbolic
    “trajectory of light”.
    Vita
    AREA5Life
The “life” that converges in Odaiba is expressed with a symbolic “trajectory of light”.
The display dissects the “trajectory of light” and its position, and as it approaches people’s surroundings, sometimes clinging, sometimes suddenly departing, an expression that mirrors human emotion begins.
And as time passes by, the interaction between the “trajectory of light” and people heats up, resulting in a vivid emission of light, and an intensified beauty.
  • An urban cityscape, symbolizing Odaiba, is expressed
with a “trajectory of light” evoking a network.
    Urbs
    AREA6Urban
An urban cityscape, symbolizing Odaiba, is expressed with a “trajectory of light” evoking a network.
The display dissects the “trajectory of light” created by people’s steps, and the light continually expands, just as a city develops and grows.
And as time passes by, the interaction between the network and people reaches a higher voltage, resulting in a vivid emission of light resembling a city of the future, and an intensified beauty.
Through AR, expand your experience of a beautiful world born from “harmony”.

CONCORDIA AR

Through AR, expand your experience of a beautiful world born from “harmony”.
When you scan the QR code at one of the Signal Towers installed in the six areas, a different “CONCORDIA AR” effect for each area will rise into the space. Savor the experience of melting into this “symphony of harmony”.
If you experience the AR effects of all six areas, a personalized “Special AR” will be generated from your trajectory, inviting you to immerse yourself in an even deeper experience.
